1. Kentucky Wildcats New Jersey #1, National Champs!
2. UMass Minutemen Philadelphia Marcus Camby, player of the year
3. Wake Forest Houston Tim Duncan runs this team. It's nice to see that he decided to stay in school!
4. Georgetown Hoyas San Antonio This team's got great potential with Allen Iverson - one of the most explosive players I've ever seen!
5. Uconn Huskies Toronto There was a great war between the Huskies and Georgetown this year in the Big East. Ray Allen's one of the best in the NCAA.
6. Kansas Jayhawks Detroit Good all-around team with one of the smartest players in college basketball in Jacque Vaughn.
7. Syracuse Orangemen Cleveland John Wallace became a complete all-around player this year. Surprised everyone by making it to the finals!
8. Utah Utes Utah Surprisingly good. Don't let the goofy haircut on Keith Van Horn fool ya, he's one of the best shooters in college.
9. Miss. St. Bulldogs Denver Another surprise team. They beat Kentucky in the SEC conference finals.
10. Georgia Tech Golden St. The trio of Marbury, Barry, and All-ACC surprise Matt Harpring give this team a deadly combination of offense and defense. Just ask the ACC!
11. North Carolina Charlotte This team has so much potential and this past year was a tough one for them. Antawn Jamison, Vince Carter, and Ademola Okulaja will become ACC terrors, while Dante Calabria is one of the best perimeter shooters in the NCAA!
12. Villanova Wildcats Milwaukee Kerry Kittle's great year in the ACC was overshadowed by Georgetown and UConn.
13. Cincinnati Bearcats Minnesota Danny Fortson was an All-American in only his sophomore year and boy is he strong!
14. Texas Tech Red Raiders Dallas Nobody really thought this team was as good as they were until they showed it by outplaying North Carolina in the NCAA tournament!
15. Louisville Cardinals Sacramento Had a good year in Conference USA, which was surprisingly strong. Samaki Walker and DeJuan Wheat are the dynamic duo for this team.
16. Arkansas Razorbacks LA Clippers Unranked at the beginning of the year, their strong tournament play showed the potential of this team. Watch out for the backcourt players on this team - they can really score.
17. Purdue Boilermakers Portland An overrated team in an overrated Big Ten conference. This team's good, but they weren't as good as their #1 seed in their region of the NCAA tournament. You still can't overlook their conference record, however.
18. Georgia Bulldogs Atlanta A surprisingly good team in a very strong SEC conference.
19. Oklahoma Sooners Washington A so-so year for Sooner fans, but the play of All-American Ryan Minor was inspirational to all.
20. UCLA Bruins Vancouver Well, this team just isn't as good as they were last year, but they have some young, talented players.
21. Arizona Wildcats Phoenix This team can surprise. They play a lot better than their ranking.
22. Indiana Hoosiers Indiana Brian Evans displayed an oustanding all-around game for the Hoosiers this year.
23. Michigan Wolverines LA Lakers Too much young, undisciplined talent on this team this year, but watch out, they're going to get much, much better.
24. Temple Owls Chicago Are capable of playing up to the level of most any other team in the NCAA. This team knows how to upset a higher ranked team.
25. California Bears Miami Shareef Abdur-Rahim was named Conference Player of the Year as a Freshman, 'nuff said.
26. Boston College Eagles Boston Danya Abrams helped keep this team in decent standing in a tough Big East conference.
27. Clemson Tigers Orlando This team, although inconsistent at times, has shown that they are capable of running with anyone else. They had a good ACC tournament which helped their NCAA tournament positioning.
28. Santa Clara New York Steve Nash is one of the best guards in the nation.
29. USF Bulls Seattle The South Florida Bulls, well what can I say other than they're my school. They really shouldn't be in here, but I couldn't resist. Other than guard Chucky Atkins, this team should be cannon fodder to most other teams here, but you never know...
Eastern All Stars Eastern All Stars The players on these two All-Star teams are selected from their respective conferences within the game.
Western All Stars Western All Stars (for example: Stephon Marbury of Georgia Tech should really be on the Eastern All Star team, but because Georgia Tech replaced Golden St. in this patch, he's in the West)
All NCAA East Stealers These two teams have players selected from their respective sides of the country that they actually reside in.
All NCAA West Jammers (For example: Allen Iverson of Georgetown, which replaced San Antonio, really is an Eastern team, so he is
